Green Fairy Witch Halloween 2026 Advent Calendar

Not every Halloween is skulls and cobwebs. This one happens in a wood at dusk: toadstools, autumn leaves, a lantern or two, and a fairy witch with green hair and wings that give off their own light. The cauldron is bubbling, the cat has an opinion about it, and there is a castle somewhere behind the trees where the moon has come up.

A Different Kind of Halloween

The palette does the work — deep green and black for the wood, orange for the leaves and pumpkins, gold for the lettering and the ornate border. It is folklore rather than horror, closer to a botanical plate than a haunted house, and it ages better on a shelf for exactly that reason. Nothing here stops making sense on the second of November.

What Comes in the Box

Paper outer box at 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm and 135 g, with a moulded plastic tray holding twenty-four acrylic pieces in individual slots. The windows are die-cut, so each door opens under a thumbnail rather than needing to be cut.

Every piece is 3.2 x 3.2 cm, printed on both faces — matte and gloss — with a hanging tab punched through the acrylic. Peel the protective film off before hanging; it is easy to miss and it dulls the print while it is on.

Through the Countdown

A bedroom shelf, a hall console, a plant stand among actual greenery — the artwork sits happily next to real foliage. Open one door a day and hang the pieces from a branch, a hoop, or a line of thread across a window. The green and gold reads well against daylight.

Keeping the Pieces Clear

Dry cloth, nothing more. Acrylic takes a haze from damp or abrasive cleaning and does not give it back. When the month is over, return the pieces to their tray slots — it is the difference between a set that lasts years and a handful of bent tabs in a decoration box.

Questions Buyers Ask

Do the wings actually glow?

They are printed to look lit — bright green against the darker wood, with the halo effect built into the artwork. There is no light source in the piece itself.

Will the ornaments keep their colour in storage?

Acrylic holds sublimated print indefinitely in the dark, so a set packed away in January comes out next October looking the same. It is daylight that fades artwork, not time in a box.

Will these suit a child’s room?

The register is gentle enough — mushrooms, leaves, a cat, a fairy. At 3.2 cm square they are small parts, so keep them above reach for very young children, but nothing in the artwork is frightening.

Is there a wearable size to choose?
