Winnipeg Comiccon 21 Limited Edition Hockey Jersey
$48.00$65.00 (-26%)
The Winnipeg Comiccon 21 Limited Edition Hockey Jersey pairs a black-and-gold hockey cut with a masked hero portrait on a yellow shield, and “Comiccon 21” across the back. It honours the first Winnipeg Comiccon in 2021, when the city finally got its own fan convention after a pandemic delay. A jersey for cosplay crowds, hockey fans and anyone who was there that first weekend.
Comic Con Meets Hockey Night

The Winnipeg Comiccon 21 Limited Edition Hockey Jersey takes a classic hockey look and gives it a superhero twist. Gold shoulder panels and a V-neck sit above a black body, with white and gold stripes around the sleeves and hem. On the chest, a black-and-white masked hero gazes out from a yellow geometric shield marked with a lightning bolt, and the number 21 appears in white on both sleeves.
The First Winnipeg Comiccon

Winnipeg Comiccon was announced in 2019 by Capeflow Productions, the team behind Montreal Comiccon. The first edition was set for autumn 2020 but was postponed because of the pandemic. It finally opened on October 29–31, 2021, at the RBC Convention Centre, with guests such as Billy Boyd, Laurie Holden and John de Lancie, more than 50 panels and workshops, and a costume Masquerade on Saturday night. About 14,000 people came that first year.
For a city that had lost its previous convention in 2019, that weekend mattered. Winnipeg is also a proud hockey town, home to the Jets, so a convention jersey in hockey form is a natural fit. The “21” on the sleeves marks that first year.
Capeflow began with Montreal Comiccon in 2008, which grew into one of the biggest fan conventions in Canada before the team brought the same mix of celebrity guests, artists, cosplay and gaming to Ottawa, Quebec City and finally Winnipeg. Many regulars collect a shirt or jersey from each year they attend, and this one is a way to remember where the Winnipeg chapter began.
