Washington Huskies NCAA 2026 Christmas Ornament

Purple and gold have always looked festive. This ornament builds them into a Christmas tree, layering purple, gold and white branches with snowflakes and stars up to a gold star topper, with the big purple W at the centre above a football and a banner reading WASHINGTON HUSKIES.

Held up in front of a cosy sweater.

Bow Down to Washington

Husky Stadium sits on the shore of Lake Washington, and on game days fans arrive by boat to tailgate on the water, one of the most beautiful traditions in college football. The Huskies shared the national championship in 1991, reached the national title game in January 2024 and joined the Big Ten later that year. Dubs, a live Alaskan Malamute, leads the team onto the field, and “Bow Down to Washington” has been the fight song for more than a century.

For Seattle families, a Husky ornament on the tree is part of the same tradition. November brings the Apple Cup against Washington State, a rivalry first played in 1900 that still divides families across the state, and the 1991 team coached by Don James, the man fans called the Dawgfather, remains the standard every Husky season is measured against.

Design and Material

Displayed on a gold ornament stand.

The ornament is cut to the tree shape and printed in full colour on both sides with UV ink, so the purple and gold stay rich. It hangs from a gold cord. The listing shows acrylic and wood versions in sizes from 8 cm up to 22 cm; choose at checkout. Allow a small variation of 0.5–2 mm from hand measuring.
