The Grinch Santa Hat 2026 Christmas Crochet Ornament
$39.90$50.00 (-20%)
The Grinch Santa Hat 2026 Christmas Crochet Ornament gives Dr. Seuss’s famous holiday thief a red Santa hat, shaggy green fur and that sideways smirk, all in hand-worked yarn. It recalls the story where a heart grows three sizes and Christmas comes anyway. Hang it on your own tree or give it to the friend who grumbles about the holidays every year.
A Grinch in Yarn
The Grinch Santa Hat 2026 Christmas Crochet Ornament is crocheted in bright green with a fringe of shaggy fur around the face and collar. His yellow eyes, dark brows and wide stitched smirk sit under a red Santa hat with fluffy white trim and a pom-pom. A red ruffle marks the waist, and two round green feet with red bands finish the bottom. A satin red ribbon and a small gold ring at the hat make the hanger.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Dr. Seuss published How the Grinch Stole Christmas! in 1957. The Grinch, living above Whoville, puts on a Santa suit, sneaks into every house and takes the presents, only to hear the Whos singing anyway. His heart grows three sizes, and he returns everything. The 1966 animated special narrated by Boris Karloff made the story a yearly tradition, and later films kept it going.
A Grinch in a Santa hat is the funniest part of that story: the holiday’s biggest critic dressed up as its symbol. For many families, he is the ornament that gets a laugh every time the tree goes up.
The 1966 special was directed by Chuck Jones, and Thurl Ravenscroft sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”, a song that still fills holiday playlists. Jim Carrey played the Grinch in 2000 and Benedict Cumberbatch voiced him in the 2018 animated film, so three generations each grew up with their own version of the character.

Ornament Questions
Is it handmade?
Yes. Each one is crocheted by hand, so small details can vary slightly from piece to piece.
Is it suitable for children?
It is a decoration rather than a toy; keep it where little ones can see it but not chew it.
Can I clean it?
Brush off dust gently and spot-clean with a damp cloth if needed. Do not machine wash it.
