Texas Longhorns NCAA 2026 Christmas Ornament

Burnt orange is more than a colour in Texas. This ornament shapes it into a Christmas tree, layering burnt orange and white branches edged in gold, with snowflakes, holly and a gold star on top. The Longhorn silhouette sits at the centre above a football, and a curved banner across the bottom reads TEXAS LONGHORNS.

Hanging on the tree by the fireplace.

Hook ‘Em, Every December

Few college traditions are as recognisable as the Hook ’em Horns hand sign, introduced in 1955 and now flashed by fans around the world. Bevo, the live longhorn steer, has been the team’s mascot since 1916, and Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium fills with burnt orange every home Saturday. Longhorn fans still talk about Vince Young’s run to win the 2005 national championship in the Rose Bowl, and in 2024 the programme began a new chapter in the SEC.

An ornament with the Longhorn on it is a small way to carry all of that into Christmas. And every October brings the Red River Rivalry against Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl during the State Fair of Texas, a game played in Dallas since 1929 and one of the most colourful days in college football.

Design and Material

Held in hand to show the size and detail.

The ornament is cut to the shape of the tree and printed in full colour on both sides with UV ink, so the colours stay bright and the design reads from either side. It hangs from a gold cord. The listing shows acrylic and natural wood versions in sizes from about 8 cm to 22.8 cm; choose the material and size at checkout. Allow a small variation of 0.5–2 mm from hand measuring.

In its gift box, ready to wrap.

A Gift for Longhorn Families

It suits a UT graduate far from Austin, a family that tailgates every home game, or a first Christmas in a new home. The larger sizes look great on a mantel stand. Wipe it with a soft cloth and store it wrapped after the holidays.
