The Tampa Bay Rays 2026 World Series American League Champions T-Shirt puts the celebration right on the chest. A small World Series 2026 mark sits at the collar line, “Tampa Bay Rays” and “American League” run in light blue and navy blocks, and “Champions” sweeps across the middle in shining silver script. Below it, the big TB logo sits on a baseball diamond between the numbers “20” and “26”, with the American League emblem beside it.
The Night Tampa Bay Clinched

On October 19, 2026, the Rays beat the Cleveland Guardians 7–3 in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series at Tropicana Field to win the series 4–2. Freddy Peralta pitched into the sixth inning, and Junior Caminero and Yandy Díaz both hit two-run home runs. It was Tampa Bay’s third pennant, after 2008 and 2020.
The Rays now face the Milwaukee Brewers, starting with Game 1 in Milwaukee on October 23. Neither club has ever won the World Series, so whoever lifts the trophy will do it for the first time. For a team that has built winners on one of the smallest budgets in baseball, this pennant is a point of real pride for the Trop faithful.
It also means more because of where it happened. Hurricane Milton tore the roof off Tropicana Field in October 2024, and the Rays spent the 2025 season playing at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. Clinching the pennant back home in St. Petersburg, in front of their own crowd, gave the night an extra layer of meaning for long-time fans.
