Sanrio Christmas Friends 2026 Advent Calendar

The box is pastel Christmas at its cutest: a mint-green tree hung with pink bows, a candy-cane village in the snow, and the Sanrio friends gathered below. Hello Kitty holds a gold star, My Melody carries a gift, Kuromi waves a candy cane, and Pompompurin, Pochacco and Keroppi settle in among the presents.

Friends Since 1974

Hello Kitty was created for Sanrio in 1974 by designer Yuko Shimizu, and in more than fifty years she has become one of the most recognised characters in the world. My Melody followed in 1975. Others joined much later: Cinnamoroll, the puppy who flies with his ears, in the early 2000s, and Kuromi, My Melody’s mischievous rival, in 2005.

That mix of old and new friends is why Sanrio crosses generations. A parent who carried a Hello Kitty pencil case can share this calendar with a child who loves Kuromi or Cinnamoroll.

What the Designs Cover

• The friends: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Keroppi and Pochacco.
• Christmas outfits: Santa hats, scarves, earmuffs, a candy cane, a pudding, a bell and a stocking.
• Holiday treats: a pastel tree, a Hello Kitty stocking, a gift box, a snowman Kitty, a gingerbread house, a cocoa mug and a pink sleigh.

The photos show the friends as rounded figures, but each window holds a flat acrylic ornament printed on both sides. The numbered layout introduces the set; it does not tell you who is behind each window.
