Orlando Magic Hot Wheels Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar

Two famous logos share this box. The red-and-yellow Hot Wheels flame sits on top, the Orlando Magic wordmark with its star-tailed basketball fills the middle, and a deep blue 1970 Chevelle SS with MAGICO on the door races across a night skyline. The spine reads “Pure Magic Basketball” and “Orlando Magic Est. 1989”.

Hot Wheels Since 1968

Mattel launched Hot Wheels in 1968, when co-founder Elliot Handler wanted die-cast cars that looked and rolled faster than anything else on the market. The first sixteen models, later nicknamed the Sweet Sixteen, included a custom Camaro and a custom Mustang, and the brand has since become one of the best-selling toy lines in the world. The ’70 Chevelle SS on this box is a fitting hero car: its big-block engine made it one of the most celebrated muscle cars of its era.

The Magic Story

The Orlando Magic joined the NBA as an expansion team in 1989, with the name chosen through a community contest that tied the club to the city’s identity as a destination of wonder. Within a few seasons they had Shaquille O’Neal and Penny Hardaway and reached the 1995 NBA Finals, then returned to the Finals in 2009. The pinstripes and star logo became one of the most recognisable looks of nineties basketball.

A new generation has brought the excitement back. Paolo Banchero, the first overall pick in 2022, was named Rookie of the Year, and with Franz Wagner beside him the Magic returned to the playoffs in 2024 and again in 2025. For fans who remember the Shaq era and those discovering the team now, the blue-and-black car designs connect both chapters.

Inside the Windows

Behind the windows are car designs in Magic blue, black, white and silver, from muscle cars to off-roaders, vans and race cars, many carrying team graphics. Each piece is flat acrylic printed on both sides. Our product photo lines up the full set for viewing only; it does not show which car you will find on any given day.

A Gift for Two Kinds of Fan

It suits a child who loves both basketball and toy cars, a parent who grew up watching Shaq and Penny, or a Magic season-ticket holder whose desk could use some colour. Open one window each morning before school, and the tree fills with blue cars by Christmas Eve.
