Nissan GT-R 2026 Advent Calendar

Few cars have a nickname as fitting as Godzilla. This calendar celebrates the Nissan GT-R with a black box showing a silver GT-R under city lights at night, the red and white GT-R badge above it and Advent Calendar 2026 beneath. Around the box, GT-R cars line up in silver, white, black, blue, red, gold, purple, orange, green and yellow.

The Story of Godzilla

The GT-R name goes back to the Skyline 2000 GT-R of 1969, a race-bred sedan that dominated Japanese touring cars. The R32 Skyline GT-R of 1989 won so often in Australian racing that the press there nicknamed it Godzilla, and the name stuck. The standalone R35 GT-R arrived in 2007 and stayed in production for nearly two decades, until the last car rolled off the line at Nissan’s Tochigi plant in August 2025, a Midnight Purple Premium Edition T-Spec.

For many fans, the GT-R was the car of their video games, posters and tuner magazines, and the end of the R35 made every GT-R feel a little more precious.

What Waits Behind the Windows

The designs are GT-R cars in a wide range of colours and liveries. Each piece is flat acrylic printed on both sides. The photo shows the collection together rather than the order behind each window.

For Car People

It is a natural gift for a JDM enthusiast, a friend who spent their teenage years tuning a GT-R in racing games, or a parent who still has a GT-R poster in the garage. The stand-base pieces make a colourful row on a desk.
