Minnesota Twins Disney Cars Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar

Some families split their loyalties between the ballpark and the movie shelf. The Minnesota Twins Disney Cars Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar settles the argument by putting both on one box: Cars-style characters dressed in Twins navy and red, gathered in front of a snow-dusted Target Field, with 24 windows to open through December.

Twins Country and Radiator Springs

The Twins have given Minnesota two World Series titles, in 1987 against St. Louis and in 1991 against Atlanta, a Game 7 the Twins won 1–0 in ten innings that is still talked about as one of the best ever played. The 1987 run also gave the state the Homer Hanky, dreamed up by the Star Tribune’s Terrie Robbins and first handed out on October 7, 1987; about 2.3 million were sold or given away that year. Target Field opened in 2010, and the Twins won its first regular-season game, 5–2 over the Red Sox on April 12.

Disney·Pixar’s “Cars” arrived on June 9, 2006 and told the story of Lightning McQueen, the No. 95 race car who gets stranded in Radiator Springs, a forgotten town on Route 66, and makes friends with a rusty tow truck named Mater. The film became a childhood favourite, and its die-cast toy line turned a generation of kids into collectors.

At Target Field, the “Minnie and Paul” sign, two players from Minneapolis and St. Paul shaking hands across the Mississippi River, lights up when the Twins hit a home run or win at home. It is one of the reasons the ballpark feels like it belongs to both cities, and the snowy Target Field on this box is a nod to how Minnesotans picture their ballpark in December: waiting under a blanket of snow for spring.

What Is Inside

The box art labels the set “24 Character Die-Cast Cars.” The designs fall into a few groups: race cars with numbers and Twins colours, trucks and pickups carrying Christmas trees and gifts, and characters dressed for the holidays in Santa hats and antlers. The numbered layout in our photos shows the whole set at a glance; it does not tell you what sits behind each window. The pieces you receive are flat acrylic charms printed on both sides with these character designs.

The Standard box weighs about 135 g.

Choose hanging pieces with a hole for a hook or ribbon, or standing pieces with a small base. Remove the protective film from each piece before use.

A Countdown for Little Twins Fans

This calendar works best with kids. Let them open a window each morning, hang the new character on the tree and name it after their favourite player. For parents who grew up with the Homer Hanky and kids who grew up with Lightning McQueen, it is a shared tradition. It also suits a teacher’s classroom, a grandparent’s mantel or a desk at work during the long Minnesota winter before spring training.

Questions Fans Ask

Yes for supervised use. The pieces are small, so keep them away from toddlers who still put things in their mouths.

Can the pieces be used after Christmas?

Yes. They hang on a tree or stand on a shelf, and they store flat in the box for next year.
