Doraemon Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar

A blue robot cat in a Santa suit, standing in a snowy village with a boy beside him: that is the cover of the Doraemon Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar. The deep blue box has white-and-red Doraemon lettering, a decorated tree, gifts, bells and stars, and the banner “24 Days of Holiday Cheer”.

Who Doraemon is

Doraemon was created by Fujiko F. Fujio, the pen name of manga artist Hiroshi Fujimoto, and the manga began in 1969. The premise is simple: a robot cat from the 22nd century is sent back in time to help a lazy, unlucky schoolboy named Nobita. Doraemon keeps a four-dimensional pocket full of gadgets from the future, and the gadgets often backfire in ways that fuel the stories.

The best-known anime ran from 1979, and the series has sold more than 300 million copies worldwide, which is why Doraemon is a household name in Japan and beyond. In 2008 he was named Japan’s first anime ambassador.

A Christmas set for fans

The 24 ornaments are designed around festive shapes. The product photos show Doraemon in a Santa suit, inside a wreath, on a candy cane, in a bell, beside a star and in a small vehicle, each in a clear acrylic outline with a hanging loop.

The numbered picture on the product page gives you the range at a glance. It does not show which design sits behind which window.

Details at a glance

The calendar is built from a paper outer box and a moulded plastic inner tray. It holds 24 acrylic (mica) ornaments of 3.2 x 3.2 cm, each with a perforated hanging tab, and comes in one size at 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm in size and 135 g. Both sides of the ornaments are printed, matte on one and glossy on the other, and die-cut dotted lines open one window per day.

Daily use

Place the box where it can be seen. Open the window for the day, peel the protective film off the ornament and hang it from its tab on a branch, a ribbon or a display stand. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth when needed.

The ornaments are small decorative pieces, so they suit shelves, trees and desks, and should be kept away from rough handling and very young children.

Gift ideas

It suits families who grew up with the series, collectors of Japanese character goods and anyone who wants a Christmas countdown with some personality. It is also an easy desk decoration for the office, where one window a day makes a quick morning ritual. For more character-led gifts, explore our collection.
