Dallas Cowboys 66th Anniversary Christmas 2026 Advent Calendar

Dallas arrived in 1960 as an expansion side with no players, no stadium of its own and a first season that ended without a win. The nickname that followed — America’s Team — took another fifteen years and two Super Bowls to arrive, and it has been argued about ever since. Sixty-six seasons in, that argument is part of the appeal.

1960 and After

An anniversary box is a better fit for this club than a trophy-based one. The Cowboys’ hold on the American imagination has less to do with the last title than with the star, the stadium, the Thanksgiving slot and the sheer number of people who decided at some point that this was their team. Sixty-six years of that accumulates.

Inside the Box

Twenty-four acrylic ornaments, each 3.2 cm square and printed on both faces — one matte, one gloss — with a tab punched through for hanging. They sit in a moulded plastic tray inside a paper box of 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, 135 g. Die-cut dotted lines outline every window so the doors open cleanly one at a time.

One face of each piece carries a protective film from the factory. Peel it before hanging, or the print stays flat and slightly cloudy under it.

Adding a Name

The name set at checkout prints into the front artwork during production, not onto a label afterwards. On a gift that gets handled every day for over three weeks, that distinction shows.

Through the Month

A shelf, a desk, the counter by the door. Ornaments come out one at a time and need somewhere to go — a bare branch in a jug works better than the tree for the first week, when there are only three or four of them. Indoors, away from damp and radiators.

Questions Buyers Ask

Does the calendar cover the whole of December?

Twenty-four doors, running to Christmas Eve. The twenty-fifth is not part of the format.

How thick are the ornaments?

Thin flat acrylic — light enough to hang from thread, rigid enough not to curl. The punched tab is the strongest point to hold them by.

Can two people share one calendar?

Easily. The printed name is on the box rather than the pieces, so the ornaments themselves belong to whoever is hanging them.

What is the tray made of?

Moulded plastic, with a compartment for each ornament. It is the reason the set can be packed away and come out unscathed next December.
