New Orleans Saints Gumbo 60th Anniversary 1967-2027 Funko Pop
$79.50$89.00 (-11%)
The New Orleans Saints Gumbo 60th Anniversary 1967-2027 Funko Pop shows the Saints’ St. Bernard mascot in black and gold, football tucked under one arm. Gumbo has cheered the team since its very first season in 1967, making him part of six decades of Who Dat memories. A small, cheerful piece for your game-day shelf, or for the Saints fan you know best.
A team’s mascot belongs to the memories surrounding the game: arriving at the stadium, watching the sidelines, and sharing the atmosphere with other supporters. The New Orleans Saints Gumbo 60th Anniversary 1967-2027 Funko Pop brings that part of Saints fandom into a compact resin display figure.
Gumbo’s football pose and black-and-gold styling make the subject immediately familiar. Place it beside your game-day screen, on a home-office shelf, or among the keepsakes that tell your own story as a Saints supporter.
Gumbo and the Saints’ Early Years
Gumbo’s story starts with the team itself. In 1967 the Louisiana Restaurant Association gave the new club a young St. Bernard, a nod to St. Bernard Parish next door to New Orleans, and fans picked his name in a newspaper contest. Gumbo made his first public appearance in September 1967, days before the Saints’ first-ever game at Tulane Stadium.
Today’s Gumbo is a costumed mascot on the sidelines at the Superdome, but he carries the same name and the same link to the club’s beginnings. The 1967–2027 wording presents a 60-year anniversary theme, and for someone who has followed the Saints through changing rosters and seasons, a mascot-centered collectible recognizes the continuity of supporting the team.
A Character Piece for Your Saints Shelf
The stylized oversized head gives Gumbo an expressive appearance, while the football and team colors keep the design grounded in the game. The flat display base allows the figure to sit on a level indoor surface.
The anniversary-themed packaging can stand beside the figure if you enjoy keeping the box as part of the display. Together, they create a small focal point without requiring an entire cabinet.
