New York waited a very long time for a title, and the celebration is not going to be confined to June. This is what that looks like in December: the trophy on the box, the Garden lit up behind it, and twenty-four doors to work through while the next season is already underway.

What Is on the Box

Deep blue with orange, white and silver carrying the branding — the basketball mark, varsity-style lettering, and the championship trophy set where the eye lands first. Around it sit snow-covered trees, ornaments, stars and the Manhattan skyline, with the Garden itself picked out. A name panel runs along the front.

Your Name on the Front

Choose the name at checkout and it prints into the artwork with everything else, rather than arriving as a label to stick on. For a championship year that matters — the box ends up belonging to one particular person who sat through the seasons before this one.

What Comes Inside

Paper outer box, 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm and 135 g, with a moulded plastic tray holding twenty-four acrylic pieces in individual slots. The windows are die-cut, so each door lifts under a thumbnail without tearing into the artwork beside it.

Each piece measures 3.2 x 3.2 cm and is printed on both faces — one matte, one gloss — with a hanging tab punched through the acrylic. Peel the protective film off one face before hanging, or the print stays dull under it.

Looking After the Pieces

Acrylic takes fingerprints and gives them up to a dry cloth. Skip anything damp or abrasive — it hazes the surface permanently. In January the moulded tray earns its keep: pieces back in their slots stay flat, and the tabs stay straight.

Can I open the doors again after closing them?

The die-cut windows open once and stay open, so the box is a one-season object. The ornaments inside are the part that comes back out next year.

Are the ornaments basketball-themed?

They follow the box artwork — club marks and championship motifs alongside holiday shapes, so the set reads as a Knicks collection rather than generic decorations.

Would this suit a child?

The format is made for it — one door a day is a routine kids take to. The pieces are small, so hang them somewhere above reach for very young children.
