What You Are Building

Blue, white, grey and gold across the whole build. The stands rise around an infield with player figures on it, floodlights stand at the corners, and palm trees mark the edges the way they do in the real place. A championship trophy sits in the middle, and the backdrop carries NL West Division Champions 2026 in the same athletic type the club uses on its signage.

The Bricks Themselves

ABS — the rigid, matte plastic construction toys have used for decades, at 1.6 cm thick. It clicks together with proper resistance and holds, which is what lets tiered stands and floodlight towers stand up without bracing. It also means the whole thing disassembles cleanly rather than being glued: this is a build you can take apart in the off-season and put back together next spring.

A display base comes with the set, so the stadium has a footprint of its own instead of sitting loose on a shelf.

Where to Put It

A desk, a shelf in a room that already has team things in it, or the top of a cabinet where it can be seen from across the room. It reads from every side — the stands are built up on all four edges — so it does not need pushing against a wall. A lamp set low beside it does good work on the floodlight towers.

Keep it off a sunny windowsill and away from a radiator — ABS holds shape indefinitely at room temperature but softens under sustained heat, and thin pieces like floodlight towers are the first to droop. Are the player figures fixed in place?
