Snoopy has never needed an excuse to dress up. Here he is wrapped from head to toe in cream mummy bandages, with only his black ears, nose and big eyes peeking out, and little Woodstock beside him wrapped the same way, his bright yellow feathers showing through. The pair come in an orange Halloween window box decorated with bats.

76 Years of Peanuts

Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts first appeared in newspapers on October 2, 1950, which makes 2026 the strip’s 76th year. Snoopy, the daydreaming beagle, quickly became its biggest star, and Woodstock, his loyal little bird friend, was named in 1970. Halloween has a special place in the Peanuts story: “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” first aired on October 27, 1966, and families have watched it every autumn since, Snoopy dogfighting the Red Baron and Linus waiting all night in the pumpkin patch.

This figure brings that spooky-season warmth onto a shelf. Snoopy has always loved a costume, from the World War I Flying Ace battling the Red Baron to the astronaut beagle: NASA adopted him as a safety mascot in 1968, and Apollo 10’s lunar module was named Snoopy. Wrapping him up as a mummy for Halloween is just one more role for the most versatile dog in comics.

Display and Care

Display them on a Halloween mantel, on a desk all autumn or in a Peanuts collection all year. Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep them out of direct sunlight.
